The AIRTEC Motorsport Auxiliary Radiators (Part No: ATINTVAG46) are a high-performance upgrade for DSG and engine coolant systems in Audi, VW, and Seat vehicles with 1.8 or 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen 4 engines. Designed for track and fast road use, these uprated radiators significantly improve cooling efficiency, helping to maintain optimum engine and transmission performance under demanding conditions.

The Issue
During extended spirited driving or track sessions, especially in modified or high-powered vehicles, both the DSG transmission oil and engine coolant can reach excessive temperatures. Overheating can trigger the car’s ECU to limit torque and extend shift times, reducing responsiveness and risking long-term damage to the engine or transmission.
