Upgrade your Mk8 Golf R with the AIRTEC Motorsport Big Boost Pipe Kit, designed specifically for the EA888 Gen 4 engine (300-320ps). Developed in-house at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, this kit enhances your car’s turbo inlet and boost pipework to deliver improved airflow, increased capacity, and faster throttle response—perfect for both fast road and track use.

The comprehensive 8-piece kit includes three high-strength aluminium pipes and five Pro Hoses silicone joiners, providing a durable, easy-to-install solution. The aluminium construction ensures the pipes withstand higher boost pressures without failure, while the silicone hoses simplify installation.

On the cold side, from the intercooler to the throttle body, the stock pipe tapers from 60mm to 58mm. AIRTEC’s upgrade maintains a consistent 70mm internal diameter, increasing cross-sectional area by 36% for better flow and performance. On the hot side, from the turbo to the intercooler, the kit expands the diameter from 60mm to 63mm, a 10% increase, and eliminates the restrictive resonator to further enhance airflow and response.

Installation is straightforward with no drilling or cutting required, and the kit includes all necessary fixtures, fittings, and detailed instructions. Please note: this kit is designed to be used with the AIRTEC Motorsport Intercooler Upgrade.
