The PedalBox EV has all the driving modes and features that have made the PedalBox from DTE so successful in recent years. It can combine comfort and sportiness and, like the PedalBox Pro, has a limit mode and an immobilizer. In addition, the PedalBox EV offers an absolute novelty, namely the Long Range mode, which significantly reduces energy consumption in load change mode, i.e. especially in city traffic and on country roads.

The PedalBox EV from DTE Systems was developed to give the driver of an electric car the opportunity to adjust the vehicle even more individually to their personal driving profile. Four different eco and sport driving programs as well as the "Limit" mode can be selected via remote control or smartphone app, each of which can be fine-tuned in seven stages. If required, the standard characteristic curve can also be selected.

LONG RANGE
The Long Range mode uses an intelligent algorithm that takes various driving dynamics factors into account and optimizes the signals, which reduces energy consumption and can therefore extend the range by up to 20%. The economically and ecologically designed Long Range mode also has a kick-down function in case you want to leave the mode spontaneously.
COMFORT
Comfort mode is designed for smooth and relaxed driving. The degressive design of the signal curve prevents aggressive acceleration, particularly in the lower to medium signal range, especially with higher motorized electric vehicles. As a result, the electric vehicle can be started off very smoothly and is extremely easy to control.
DYNAMIC
Dynamic mode significantly increases the power response and is suitable for most driving situations with a sporty design. The vehicle responds more spontaneously: A real plus in dynamics that the driver can feel, especially during overtaking maneuvers.
PERFORMANCE
Performance mode has optimized power response across the entire signal range. A sportier, more aggressive response that pulls you forward on the track.
SERIE
In series mode, the vehicle is in the standard default settings.
Features
Limit Mode
Be safe on the road at all times and stay in control, especially with powerful electric vehicles. With the Limit Mode, you can limit the current acceptance and thus restrict the power of the electric vehicle (e.g. when used by novice drivers or third-party drivers). The limit mode reduces the current acceptance and thus limits the energy output to a certain point. The maximum position of the power pedal can be set individually. There are 7 possible levels from 20% (suitable for city traffic/valet parking) to 80% (prevents strong acceleration). The setting is made individually using the plus and minus buttons on the remote.
Immobilizer
With the PedalBox EV immobilizer, you can additionally protect your vehicle against theft. If the immobilizer is active, the PedalBox EV permanently blocks the power supply electronically. In this way, the PedalBox EV protects you in particular against the consequences of the known security loopholes keyless go bridging and CAN bus hacking. This makes it possible for thieves to bypass the car key, open the electric vehicle and start it. Finally, the PedalBox EV prevents the power from being switched on, so that you are also protected against this theft method, among others. When the immobilizer is active, the PedalBox EV will only release each start when your associated PedalBox Remote or your paired smartphone are within range.
Simple installation with PerfecTune
The PedalBox can be installed in just a few simple steps: The two original PedalBox plugs are connected to the electronic accelerator pedal in the vehicle. After installation, the PedalBox is immediately ready for use. Thanks to the bracket supplied, the PedalBox is always within easy reach of the driver. The PedalBox can be easily fixed in place with the adhesive pads supplied and removed again without leaving any residue, e.g. when changing vehicles. With the accelerator pedal tuning, driving pleasure is just a push of a button away. The PedalBox Pro Basis can be easily installed under the side footwell trim and blends invisibly into the vehicle interior.
For even more individualized accelerator pedal tuning, the PedalBox EV can be individually tuned to the respective vehicle. This is made possible by the PedalBox's new feature with integrated PerfecTune autocalibration.
All you have to do is select one of the three driving programs Comfort, Dynamic or Performance. The PedalBox EV can then automatically and self-learningly adapt to any vehicle by moving the accelerator pedal from 0 to 100 percent.
