Racingline Billet Rear Subframe Inserts MQB / MQB Evo / 2.5TFSI RS Models
RACINGLINERacingline Billet Rear Subframe Inserts MQB/MQB Evo & 2.5TFSI RS Models
The RacingLine Rear Subframe Inserts fill the large voids in the factory rear subframe mounts with four billet inserts, limiting movement for greatly improved responses from the rear suspension and differential, ensuring sharper cornering dynamics.
This easily-fitted, effective upgrade is suitable for all hard-driven VW, Audi, Cupra, and Skoda MQB & MQB ‘Evo’ models, as well as Audi 2.5 RS cars.
The RacingLine Rear Subframe Insert Kit for the MQB & MQB ‘Evo’ chassis fills the voids in the factory rear subframe mounts to limit subframe and differential movement under load, maintaining proper rear suspension geometry during hard cornering. By filling these voids, the Rear Subframe Insert Kit eliminates the inevitable ‘squidge’ to ensure a more precise, connected driving experience, especially during hard cornering, resulting in a much more connected, direct feel from your car when you need it most.
The MQB/MQBE chassis use soft rubber rear subframe mounts with large voids that deflect significantly under load, causing the rear end to feel vague and loose, and leading to less-than-optimal suspension geometry on track. These precision-machined billet aluminium inserts simply slide into the holes, greatly limiting rear subframe movement. Installation takes just minutes, as the inserts are designed to be fitted without requiring subframe removal.
Machined from billets of T6-6061 aluminium and precision CNC-machined into shape, the race-proven Subframe Inserts are more than strong enough to keep your rear geometry accurately located, even on track. Unlike the polyurethane insert options on the market, these billet aluminium parts will not deform or wear over time, guaranteeing long-lasting performance.
RacingLine’s careful development process has resulted in a design that doesn’t sacrifice ride quality or introduce any perceivable additional noise, vibration, or harshness into the cabin, making this an upgrade that’s just as well-suited to a daily-driven car as to a full track-prepped machine.
All of these benefits are even more pronounced on older cars with ‘tired’ rubber in the factory mounts.
