VIS Motorsport High Pressure Fuel Pump Internals Upgrade Kit for VAG 2.0T EA888 Gen 3 VW Audi Seat Skoda
Modification of the 1.8 & 2.0TSI EA888 GEN 3 engine far beyond OEM power levels requires an additional volume of high-pressure fuel, in order to avoid "fuel cuts" especially in the midrange, usually between 3000-5000 rpm.
In many cases we see the factory fuel pump begin to suffer from pressure loss. The limitation of how much volume of fuel the high pressure pump can flow is dependent upon the volume displaced by the pressurizing cylinder inside the pump. In order to address the lack of fuel VIS Motorsport developed this High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) internal upgrade to suit every builds needs.
The VIS HPFP internals have 25% more surface area than standard, are capable of over 250bar+ of pressure, starting and ending with over 50% volume, and less weight by 10% compared to OE (fuel pressure is dependant to type of engine as it fits many applications/engines)
This monster is ready for big turbo applications or just for stock power. The Piston head is optimized for ideal hydrodynamic flow . The surface is hardened and heat treated in 2 different stages. It's been tested on many configurations and different hardware/software setups around the globe and have proven again and again the reliability and performance you can expect from each and every VIS Motorsport HPFP Upgrade kit.
The VIS EA888.3 internals come with fully detailed instructions including step by step fitting images and a fitting tool (We do sell the tool separately if you require it, but when purchasing a set of internals you will be supplied with a fitting tool, these are included in the cost of this HPFP internal!)
Please note – Do NOT fit these internals into a HPFP that has just been removed from a running vehicle. This will cause seizing of the internals from the heat difference between the hot pump and cold internals!
Only fit these internals into a cold HPFP – Leave the car to stand overnight, etc before fitting.
